Aim: This webinar will provide you with guidance and advice on the access arrangements available for pupils participating in 2023 KS1 and KS2 national curriculum tests (SATs), including adaptations that can be made for pupils with SEND and an overview of the application process.

Rationale: As the deadline for applying for SATs access arrangements is fast approaching, schools must consider whether any of their pupils will need access arrangements before they administer the tests. The DfE’s KS1 and KS2 access arrangement guidance details what schools need to know in relation to supporting pupils with specific needs, and their obligations with respect to informing the Standards and Testing Agency (STA).
