Certificate in Developmental Language Disorder

Many students struggle to understand instructions, or key aspects of learning in the classroom. There are many reasons for this. Developmental Language Disorder was coined in 2016, and is a neurodevelopmental condition that starts in early childhood and continues.

Developed by Stephen Parsons, a Speech and Language Therapist, this Essential CPD course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to understand how to support range of students who may present with DLD and some strategies to ensure learning is made as simple for them as possible.

To successfully understand and achieve the objectives of the course, learners are expected to engage in all aspects of the learning process to ensure they can successfully apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their own setting.
