Aim:  This mini webinar will provide you with expert insight into wave 1 of research commissioned by the DfE into the working lives of teachers and leaders, with recommendations on how pressures on education professionals might be alleviated, reducing the negative impact on their physical and mental health and supporting staff retention.

Rationale: On 11 April 2023, the DfE published Working lives of teachers and leaders – wave 1, which presents the findings of a survey carried out in spring 2022 involving more than 11,000 teachers and leaders in state schools in England. The report summarises their experiences of – and views on - learner behaviour, pay and reward, flexible working, workload, wellbeing, professional development and career plans.
