Aim: This webinar will help educators to respond adequately to bullying in the classroom through restorative and mediative practices. By exploring insightful research and studies, it will also identify how whole-school approaches and policies can work to ensure that bullying is not commonplace.

Why this webinar’s important: Research conducted by the Anti-Bullying Alliance found that as many as one in four children reported being bullied either “a lot” or “always”. Children with SEN or a disability were around twice as likely as their peers to experience this. Considering the enormous impact that bullying can have on both students’ attainment and their overall wellbeing, it is imperative that educators are equipped to deal with this issue and fulfil their duty of care.
