At National Online Safety, we provide multi-award-winning online safety education for the whole school community. It’s our mission to make the internet a safer place for children. We believe that when children go online to learn, communicate or play, they should be able to do so safely. That’s why we provide schools all over the world with the knowledge they need in order to tackle new and evolving online risks.

What is vlogging?
The word ‘vlogging’ is a blend of the two words ‘video’ and ‘blogging’. Vlogging has become a really popular hobby for today’s young people and can even be the start of a successful YouTube channel. It can just be a recording of someone telling their audience about their day and evolve from this into explainer videos on a particular topic or review pieces on products. Vlogs can be used to express opinions or can be produced just for fun and for providing a bit of entertainment. There’s lots for children and young people to learn by recording, editing, and promoting videos, but there are also things to bear in mind to ensure they stay safe.
