This webinar is for senior leaders, teachers and all practitioners working in an EYFS setting. It will provide an expert overview of the reforms outlined in the paper and what these changes could mean for children, schools, their staff and partner agencies they work with.

On the 24th October 2019, the DfE released their ‘Early Years Foundation Stage Reforms’ consultation paper to seek views on proposed changes to the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. The key aims of the changes are to improve outcomes at age 5, particularly in early language and literacy, and reduce workload so that teachers can spend more time interacting with children in their care.

In this webinar, Maggie Parker, chair of a multi-academy trust and former SEND lead, will provide an insight into the background to EYFS reform and explore what the key changes planned for the new EYFSP assessment process are.
