This webinar will provide senior leaders, headteachers and all staff with an understanding of the principles and good practice which settings should employ in order to fulfil their DfE expectations with regards to remote education.

The DfE’s 'Guidance for Full Opening’ places an ongoing expectation on settings to provide immediate remote education, should pupils need to isolate or be required to stay at home.  All schools and colleges should use the DfE ‘Guidance: Remote Education Good Practice’ to develop their remote education contingency plans. The guidance focuses on best practice methods of curriculum delivery and offers practical advice on how they can implement high-quality remote education.

In this webinar, John Rees, an experienced teacher, trainer and consultant with more than 25 years educational leadership experience, provides an overview of the DfE’s guidance on remote education good practice to help schools and colleges deliver effective remote teaching, overcome challenges and support continuous learning.
