This webinar will provide managers, senior leaders, teachers, practitioners and all staff in early years settings with insight into the ShREC approach - evidence-informed strategies to establish high-quality interactions in early years and help develop young children’s language and communication skills.
The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) advocates the ShREC approach to help early years professionals initiate and sustain high-quality interactions with young children in which they can model effective language and communication. The ShREC approach supports recommendations in EEF’s guidance report ‘Preparing for literacy’.
In this webinar, Jayne Robinson, school leader and SCITT tutor whose 25 years’ experience includes roles as NQT mentor and EYFS lead, will discuss how the ShREC model is being used in early years, and how it can be applied in specific settings.
