This webinar will provide teaching assistants with advice and practical guidance on effectively supporting pupils in modern foreign languages (MFL) lessons, through one-to-one and group work, to enhance knowledge and understanding.

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) reports that, when teaching assistants work in structured settings with high-quality support and training, their targeted one-to-one or small-group interventions show “a consistent impact on attainment of approximately three to four additional months’ progress”.

In this webinar, the Association of Language Learning (ALL), the UK’s major subject association for those involved in the teaching of foreign languages at all levels, will explore the distinctive characteristics of the primary MFL curriculum, the role of the teaching assistant in MFL lessons, and identify strategies and resources to enhance pupil outcomes.
