COVID-19: DfE ‘induction for newly qualified teachers guidance’

This webinar explores DfE guidance released on the 1st of April surrounding how the coronavirus outbreak affects newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and their induction period, discussing what this guidance means for schools and how they will be expected to adapt their policies around NQTs for the short term.

The guidance provides information around absences due to COVID-19, extension periods and how the assessment process will work. It also aims to answer the common questions that headteachers and NQTs may have in respect of what the DfE still expect of them during this unprecedented time.
