Aim: This webinar will provide you with guidance and advice on how to talk to children and teach them about race in the early years in an age-appropriate way, supporting the creation of inclusive and equitable learning environments that can promote understanding and celebrate diversity 

Rationale: As part of the people, culture and communities ELG in the EYFS statutory framework, there is an expectation that children should know some similarities and differences between different religious and cultural communities. The way this is presented to children at this age is so important, given their formative years, and how much these ideas will shape their attitudes and beliefs.
