This webinar will provide teaching assistants with advice and practical guidance on supporting pupils with wide-ranging starting-points and needs in PE lessons, through whole-class, one-to-one and small group work, to enhance engagement and attainment.

Teaching assistants form a huge part of the school workforce and are often assigned responsibility for supporting individual or groups of pupils in a wide range of subjects. There are many strategies and resources that teaching assistants can draw upon to enhance support in PE lessons, irrespective of their own levels of experience in the subject.

In this webinar, Caroline Holder, PE adviser in secondary schools with expertise as designer/leader of PE programmes, will provide insight into how class PE lessons are organised and delivered, and how best to help pupils do well in them.
