Webinar duration: 58 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide headteachers, nursery managers, practitioners, teachers and nursery assistants with expert insight into how to implement sustained shared thinking in the early years to extend learning and enhance children’s development.

Sustained shared thinking can contribute significantly to the development of the characteristics of effective learning as part of the EYFS statutory framework. It can support children to become more curious and encourages them to find their own solutions, allowing practitioners to learn more about the current level of knowledge and understanding a child has.

In this webinar, Emma Spiers, EYFS consultant, trainer and former early years Ofsted inspector, will explore how sustained shared thinking in early years can enhance learning and development, discuss what sustained shared thinking looks like and explain how practitioners can engage children as part of their learning and development.
