Sustainability and Climate Change: The DfE's Draft Strategy for Education

This webinar will provide governors, headteachers, senior leaders and teaching staff with an expert insight into how the DfE aim to put climate change at the heart of education and equip children and young people with the right knowledge, understanding and skills to face challenges and opportunities head on.

On 5 November 2021, the DfE published it’s draft strategy for the education and children’s services systems on sustainability and climate change. The strategy brings together short, medium and longer-term actions to enable progress towards achieving the DfE’s four strategic aims and overarching vision; to ensure the UK is the world-leading education sector in sustainability and climate change by 2030.

This webinar will explore what the main aims of the draft strategy are, address the actions and initiatives the DfE will implement to achieve their vision and discuss what impact this will likely have on school life for all education settings.
