This webinar will provide nursery managers, headteachers, teachers, practitioners, teaching assistants and SENCOs with expert insight into Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated conditions, and practical guidance on creating inclusive early years environments which are fully supportive of individual need.

The statutory guidance ‘Special educational needs and disability code of practice: 0 to 25 years’ states that early years providers “must have arrangements in place to support children with SEN or disabilities” which should include a clear approach to identifying and responding to SEN. The document highlights that “identifying need at the earliest point, and then making effective provision, improves long-term outcomes for children”.

In this webinar, Cheryl Bedding, Director of Aperion Training, consultant, quality inspector with 30 years’ experience in childcare, provides insight into ASC and associated conditions, and explains how early years providers can support integration and create equality of opportunity, setting all young children on the path towards happy and successful school experiences.
