This webinar will offer headteachers, leaders, safeguarding leads, SENDCOs and teachers with an insight into strategies to provide essential support to vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils and identify those at risk upon their return to school after a period of remote education.

With all children set to return to schools on 8th March, there will be a need to assess how they re-establish themselves back into classroom life. Part of that process will be implementing effective safeguarding and child protection measures adjusted to the current environment, particularly given their prolonged absence and the potential to have suffered abuse or harm.

In this webinar, international safeguarding expert and education consultant Robin Watts will discuss what circumstances children and young people may have faced during lockdown, the common factors to look out for on their return and what actions schools can take to help support children who previously may not have been considered a risk.
