This webinar will provide early years managers, leaders, practitioners and nursery assistants with an understanding of and practical guidance on developing model behaviours in order to influence children’s relationship and engagement with technology.

Young children are highly impressionable and will often model their own behaviour, attitude and way they act based on what they see other trusted adults do. Therefore, it’s hugely important that staff in early years settings set a leading example, particularly for children at such a young age, to ensure healthy habits are implemented as early as possible.

In this webinar, Cayley Jorgenson, mental health practitioner, researcher, public speaker and director of FaceUp South Africa, will explore how children acquire information from those around them, what steps settings can take to develop model behaviour and the importance of developing a whole-setting approach to healthy digital device use.
