Aim: This webinar identifies and explains approaches used by secondary schools and colleges to promote social integration, based on independent research commissioned by the DfE. Schools in England have a duty to promote community cohesion, and this webinar can help you meet the duty by selecting and implementing the most effective intervention for your setting.

Rationale: On 25 May 2023, the DfE published ‘Social integration in schools and colleges research report’, which provides in a single, accessible resource on strategies to help schools and teachers to promote social integration and community cohesion. This is deemed particularly useful at a time when pupils “may be especially open to the idea of social integration” in the aftermath of COVID-19.
