Rhiannon Sawyer works for The Children’s Society – a national charity that works with the country’s most vulnerable children and young people. Rhiannon has worked at The Children’s Society for five years and oversees their frontline work in London. Her work includes criminal and sexual exploitation, modern slavery, VAWG (violence against women and girls), destitution, advocacy, missing and trafficking.

Developed in partnership with the Children’s Society, this webinar will assist Designated Safeguarding Leads, as well as wider School Leadership Teams, to understand origins and consequences of crime exploitation in relation to the County Lines. This webinar will provide knowledge, guidance and practical advice to help schools and colleges to comply with their duty of care. Schools and colleges will be able to identify and respond to this type of criminal abuse to protect their pupils at school and within the wider local community.
