Aim: This webinar will provide you with expert insight into sensory processing disorder (SPD), and equip you with the knowledge and skills to create a sensory-friendly classroom environment which supports the learning, behaviour and wellbeing of all pupils, including those with SPD.

Rationale: According to the SEND code of practice 2015, ‘high quality teaching, differentiated for individual pupils, is the first step in responding to pupils who have or may have SEN’. With an uptick in the number of pupils identified as having SPD, there is an increasing need for educators to develop their understanding and support for pupils with sensory issues.
