The DfE’s Strategy for sustainability and climate change stresses the importance of ‘giving all children, young people and adults the knowledge and skills to thrive in the green economy and to help restore nature.’ In helping pupils prepare for the opportunities and responsibilities of adult life, PSHE/RHE lessons offer a fitting forum for exploration of sustainability issues.

In this webinar, John Rees, RSHE subject matter expert with over 25 years’ educational leadership experience, explains how schools can incorporate the topics of sustainability and climate change into the PHSE/RHE lessons, at the same time, developing pupils’ understanding of social responsibility and good citizenship.
