Aim: This webinar will provide expert guidance on using technology and AI tools to enhance and support modern foreign languages (MFL) learning. It will identify a range of free and pay-to-use resources, from quizzing websites to the best apps and software to help develop pupils’ knowledge of phonics, vocabulary and grammar, and build cultural capital.

Rationale: New technologies, including AI, have huge potential to enhance delivery of a high-quality languages education which is aligned with Ofsted expectations. For example, they can support memorisation and practice; give immediate, individualised feedback; offer virtual trips to the target language countries; and support teachers to create bespoke classroom resources. Selected and used with discernment, they can save teachers valuable time, enrich lessons and help pupils to make excellent progress in language learning.
