Teaching assistants form a huge part of the school workforce, and are often assigned responsibility for supporting pupils, particularly low-attaining or disadvantaged pupils, or those with SEND. A wide range of strategies and resources exist which teaching assistants can draw upon to enhance support in science lessons.

In this webinar, Dr Katy Bloom, Senior Lecturer and School learning and Teaching Lead with advanced skills teacher status, will explore the role of the teaching assistant in science lessons and identify strategies and resources to enhance pupil outcomes.
