Aim: This webinar will provide you with expert guidance on developing and implementing a fair and inclusive school uniform policy that meets the specific needs of your school or setting. It will help you ensure compliance with legal duties, including those relating to equality, diversity and inclusion, aligned with new government guidance.

Rationale: On 2 June 2023, the DfE published new guidance on school uniforms which should be used alongside the statutory guidance on the cost of school uniforms. It is expected that governing boards should consider the new guidance, whether or not they have a uniform policy or dress code, to ensure compliance with the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010.
