Aim: This webinar explores behaviours in schools that could be linked to safeguarding concerns and offers practical guidance on recognising and managing them before they escalate – protecting the individuals involved and the school as a whole.

Rationale: With violent incidents in schools on the rise in recent years, educators need to have the skills to prevent smaller safeguarding concerns from becoming incidents that cause greater harm. They must also be properly equipped to respond to an immediate safeguarding concern, such as verbal abuse turning into physical violence; bullying becoming more intense; pupils using harmful substances: or pupils carrying weapons or brandishing other objects as makeshift weapons.
