This webinar will provide governors and senior leaders with an overview of the key findings and recommendations published following the independent review of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), and changes to the way the DfE will operate from 1 April 2022 onwards.

On 15 February 2022, the DfE published a final summary report into the review of the ESFA, alongside their response to each of the recommendations made and a separate note outlining changes to the way the department will operate from 1 April 2022 onwards. The review was conducted alongside the Future DfE transformation project on how the DfE organise themselves better to deliver locally, regionally and nationally.

In this webinar, Michelle Howard, education expert with experience in implementing change initiatives to improve school outcomes, will provide a review of the main findings outlined in the report, what the aim of the study was and run-through each of the recommendations, outlining what this means for schools and post-16 providers.
