Aim: This webinar will provide you with an expert overview and insight into research findings on reducing early withdrawals by 16- to 19-year-olds from full-time courses, including case studies and practical examples.

Rationale: On 18 January 2023, the DfE published guidance which summarises key operational and strategic techniques used to increase learner retention for 16 to 19-year-old full-time learners. Based on the data available, together with a series of college case studies, the research carried out has provided a set of effective techniques and strategies that could be adopted by colleges to improve early (pre-census) full-time retention.
