Webinar duration: 46 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide nursery managers, practitioners and nursery assistants with practical ways in which to respond to dysregulation to effectively manage children’s behaviour in early years settings.

In line with personal, social and emotional development early learning goals, and the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, self-regulation is a key area of development. Children should be expected to understand their own feelings, regulate behaviour, control impulses and focus their attention, however, dysregulation can severely disrupt children’s development in these areas.

In this webinar, Catrina Lowri, qualified special needs teacher, experienced SENCO, and creator of Neuroteachers resources, will explore what is meant by dysregulation, why it happens and how early years settings can manage behaviour and provide a supportive environment to help aid development goals.
