Black, Asian and minority ethnic children make up one third of English primary pupils. It is crucial that education is truly representative of their backgrounds, to foster a sense of belonging, value and worth. A re-evaluation of the curriculum through an EDI lens offers an opportunity to ensure that teaching and learning reflects the history, achievement and culture of all pupils.

In this webinar, Aisha Thomas, founder of Representation Matters, whose mission is to challenge inequality and the lack of representation in education, invites primary schools to look again at their practice, and explains how different cultures, traditions and communities can be represented across the primary curriculum.
