Home Office figures found that nearly 50% of young people who were referred to the Channel programme were thought to be at risk of radicalisation by the extreme right-wing. As far right groups continue to target vulnerable children online using social media and online gaming platforms, separate research found that many schools lack the resources and training to teach pupils how to reject and discuss dangerous extremist views.
