According to UNICEF’s estimations, one in every three internet users across the world is under 18. Global trends in technology and devices broadly reflect an abundantly clear direction of travel: children and teens are going online more and more. In schools around the planet, online safety is becoming an integral element of the curriculum – and indeed, is a statutory requirement in many territories (including the UK). Teachers are having to consider the best possible ways to develop and implement an education in digital citizenship which is effective and impactful.

In this webinar, Dr Mike Ribble – Director of IT for the Manhattan–Ogden schools district in Kansas – discusses the various tools and resources that can assist this step change, while exploring the vital role of leadership and the significant benefits of involving the whole school community.
