Webinar Duration: 1 hour 6 minutes (approx.)

This webinar, in collaboration with the National Association of Teachers for Religious Education (NATRE), will provide headteachers, curriculum leaders, subject leaders and teachers and practitioners with knowledge and skills to undertake a robust evaluation of the impact of their RE curriculum, including strategies for formative and summative assessment, aligned with Ofsted expectations.

On the 12th May 2021, Ofsted published their ‘Research review series: religious education’ paper, reporting on factors that influence the quality of religious education (RE) in schools in England. Ofsted will use this understanding of subject quality to examine how RE is taught in England’s schools where RE falls under Ofsted’s inspection remit.

In this webinar, NATRE, the subject teacher association for RE professionals and national advocate for high quality RE teaching, will identify effective systems for determining the impact of the RE curriculum on the attainment and aspirations of all pupils in line with recently updated Ofsted guidance.
