Toni Priddey is an experienced mathematics consultant who has previously worked as a teacher, mathematics subject leader, assessment lead and gifted and talented lead prior to becoming a local authority consultant.
After 7 years working as a consultant, she created her own company First4Maths in October 2011 with her colleague Sarah Skelley. Toni has supported a wide range of schools, from those that are in a vulnerable position to those that are looking to further enhance their outstanding practice. Within these different circumstances she has been able to provide support tailored to the needs of the school and have had a positive impact on standards and quality of delivery of mathematics.
During her time as a teacher, Toni gained a Post Graduate Qualification in Gifted and Talented Education and has used this work to support the development of training to ensure effective challenge for all children. Toni holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and works effectively with senior leadership teams to plan strategic programmes of support.
Toni plans and delivers lessons in collaboration with teachers and teaching assistants as part of her consultancy work. She is passionate about ensuring that her training remains up to date with current classroom practice and initiatives.
