On October 24, the Department for Education published new guidance on understanding and identifying radicalisation risk in education settings. The Prevent duty, of course, is part of the statutory training for all schools. and it is important that both teaching and non-teaching staff fully understand and feel confident acting on the guidance – from understanding the risks to being familiar with the stages of an intervention plan.

In this webinar, experienced Prevent coordinator Elizabeth Kitto discusses how Prevent and Channel can form part of a setting’s safeguarding strategy, and what primary schools can do to help shield pupils from dangerous extremism.
