This webinar will provide headteachers, governors, RSHE curriculum and subject leaders, teachers and practitioners with practical advice on implementing an RSHE study programme for post-16 students aligned with ESFA expectations.

ESFA guidance on 16 – 19 study programmes stipulates that programmes should include preparation for adult life and the acquisition of life skills, including staying safe. An effective RSHE study programme will need to address with sensitivity the risks associated with drugs, alcohol, tobacco and sex, to help post-16 students manage their current and future lives.

In this webinar, John Rees, RSHE subject matter expert with over 25 years’ educational leadership experience, will explain how post-16 providers can implement preventative drugs, alcohol, tobacco and sex education for older students as they prepare to navigate the adult world, reflecting ESFA study programme expectations.
