Aim: This webinar will provide you with a clearer understanding of eating disorders in children and what settings can do to promote healthy attitudes towards food and body image as part of a whole-setting approach to preventing these illnesses.

Rationale: With figures released by the NHS last year showing that record numbers of children in the UK are receiving treatment for eating disorders – and, alarmingly, that the percentage is rising sharply year on year – it is becoming increasingly important that staff understand the scale of this issue and that early years settings are equipped to be able to detect and offer appropriate support as a community.
