Webinar Duration: 45 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide governors, headteachers and senior school leaders with expert guidance and support in delivering whole-school improvement and stronger pupil outcomes through high expectation leadership and behaviour.

In April 2021, the DfE revealed the first mentors and trainers in their £10million behaviour hubs programme. The projects is based on the work of Tom Bennett and his independent report ‘Creating a culture: a review of behaviour management in schools’ which found that when behaviour in general improves throughout a school, students achieve more, time is reclaimed for better learning and staff satisfaction improves, retention is higher and recruitment is less problematic.

In this webinar Mark Emmerson, DfE behaviour adviser and CEO of the City of London Academies Trust, will discuss the importance of placing behaviour at the heart of the school improvement strategy, the essential role that senior leadership has to play and how schools can develop a culture of excellence that reflects their vision and values.
