Aim: This webinar explores the issue of child sexual abuse material online and the part that artificial intelligence (AI) can play in generating this content. It discusses ways that trusted adults in education can help to mitigate the risks to children – and how they might intervene in the event of a concern.

Why this webinar’s important: The Internet Watch Foundation recently published the findings of its investigation into computer-generated child sexual abuse images on the dark web, leading to the UK government renewing calls for technology companies and law enforcement agencies to clamp down on the spread of such material. In many cases, offenders are using AI technology to create new content which features real children who have been victims of sexual abuse.
