On 6 October 2022, the UK Council for Internet Safety (UKCIS) updated its guidance ‘Online safety in schools and colleges: Questions from the Governing Board (2022)’, which sets out a list of questions that the governing board should be asking, provides examples of good and outstanding practice, and identifies when governors and trustees should be concerned.

This webinar will provide a walk through of the five key areas highlighted in the updated UKCIS guidance to help school leaders ensure that their online safety provision is compliant with the law, enabling pupils to safely benefit from all the opportunities that the internet brings, appropriate to their age and stage.
