The shift to remote education once again has brought online safety into sharp focus. Despite many schools and colleges strengthening their policies around safeguarding online and digital literacy, the speed with which increased online activity developed over the last year may not have allowed for an extensive consideration of the needs of pupils with SEND.

In this webinar, Dr Jamie Galpin, Education Officer and lead on CPDL at nasen with 18 years’ experience in SEND, will explore what schools and colleges can do to support children and young people with SEND, how their needs might be differentiated and how staff can better understand safeguarding concerns online.
