Making connections online with people who we don't know in 'real' life can be fraught with risk - particularly for young people, and especially if the relationship begins to develop into something beyond a friendship. This bite-size video will quickly bring you up to speed on the often complex subject of online relationships.
Whatever our interests, it’s overwhelmingly likely that – out there on the internet – we’ll eventually run into someone who’s just as passionate about the same things. Digital friendships often begin as short interactions on a forum, on networking platforms or through in-game chat. If things go well, they might progress to messaging each other directly – perhaps sharing mobile numbers and following each other’s social accounts.
