At National Online Safety, we provide multi-award-winning online safety education for the whole school community. It’s our mission to make the internet a safer place for children. We believe that when children go online to learn, communicate or play, they should be able to do so safely. That’s why we provide schools all over the world with the knowledge they need in order to tackle new and evolving online risks.
Online Challenges
Often funny, sometimes commendable... and occasionally dangerous. Check out our five-minute explainer video to make sure you're up to speed with the subject of online challenges.

What are online challenges?
Online challenges have become a common feature of social media. These are where people are challenged to participate in a specific task or activity that they then share online.
Innocent online challenges can unite people over a common cause or interest. They can help bond people together through shared experiences and form a talking point. They can provide interest and humour and light-hearted fun.
The majority of these challenges are harmless fun and do tend to be innocent… but sometimes they can go one step further and, for one reason or another, can actually end up being quite dangerous.
