Aim: This webinar will provide you with expert insight into Ofsted’s maths subject report, which identifies factors that influence the quality of mathematics education in schools in England, based on findings from routine inspections. It builds on and complements our webinar on Ofsted’s research review series: maths.

Why this webinar’s important: On 13 July 2023, the DfE published ‘Coordinating mathematical success: the mathematics subject report’, which evaluates the common strengths and weaknesses in the schools inspected, and considers the challenges that mathematics education faces. The document explains that “success can be ‘coordinated’ when leaders ensure all the elements of pupils’ mathematics education are supporting each pupil’s progress in the subject”.
