Aim: This webinar will examine what we mean by ‘wellbeing’ how this relates to nursery staff. It will explore the specific needs of those working in nursery and early years settings, looking in detail at leadership responsibilities and strategies for day-to-day and long-term success.

Rationale: The Teacher Wellbeing Index 2022 illustrated that overall stress levels of education staff had increased from the preceding year. More than three-quarters (77%) of early years staff reported that they felt stressed, with around two-thirds (65%) admitting that they had considered leaving the sector. Better support strategies in nurseries and early years settings can significantly aid retention and recruitment, helping to deliver the quality of education that our children deserve.
