This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders and governors with advice and practical guidance on preparing for an Ofsted pre-inspection call (PIC), so that, during the conversation, the headteacher is able to draw upon wide-ranging information and provide a comprehensive and accurate overview of the schools’ achievements.

The PIC is the headteachers’ main opportunity to give the lead inspector key information about the school. As Ofsted provides very little notice of a call, it is essential that the headteacher is prepared to speak about wide-ranging topics: the school's context, curriculum, exam outcomes, EBacc entries, teaching and learning, reading, safeguarding, behaviour and attitudes, SEND, personal development, and leadership and management.

In this webinar, Wendy Adeniji, experienced school principal, MFL teacher, coach in the PIC, author of international renown and former inspector, models a PIC to demonstrate how headteachers should prepare themselves for this all-important conversation.
