Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education will become statutory in schools and colleges from September 2020. That’s why it’s important that schools and colleges respond to these changes now, not least because of the increased importance of ‘Personal Development’ and ‘Behaviour’ in the forthcoming Ofsted inspection framework. Furthermore, the mental health of pupils (and staff) is integral to their academic attainment and well-being.
