This webinar will equip headteachers, school and college leaders, mental health leads and teachers with a range of approaches to facilitate the health and wellbeing of all pupils as in-school and college provision and social interaction are resumed after a period of remote education.

As all children and young people return back to school on the 8th March, it’s important that schools and colleges consider how children and young people will have been affected emotionally during their time off. Social isolation has meant many children and young people will have been deprived of social interaction and the constant uncertainty, loss of control and disruption to normal support networks can lead to increased levels of anxiety and stress.

In this webinar, mental health and wellbeing expert Anna Bateman explores what signs of distress schools and colleges should look out for as children and young people return to the classroom, the benefits and importance of reconnection, and how staff can support vulnerable pupils and help establish emotional literacy.
