Aim: This webinar will provide you with expert guidance on managing the transition of primary pupils with SEND both within and between settings. It identifies vulnerable groups who might experience particular difficulty, and offers practical strategies which can be employed to support them.

Rationale: Change can be stressful for all pupils, not least the transitions from nursery to primary and from year 6 to 7, which typically include moving to a new site. For pupils with SEND, it may be necessary to put extra support in place during daily changes in routine or in times of major upheaval, to help them adapt and continue to engage in learning.
