This webinar will provide governors, headteachers, senior leaders, curriculum leads and teaching staff with an expert insight into the DfE guidance for assessing and reporting the national curriculum at key stage 2 (KS2) in the 2021 to 2022 academic year.

On 11 October 2021, the Standards and Testing Agency published their ‘2022 key stage 2: assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA)’ statutory guidance for schools and governing bodies. The document provides information on changes for the 2021/22 academic year, advice around test administration, schools’ responsibilities and teacher assessment.

In this webinar, Jayne Robinson, School Leader and SCITT tutor whose 25 years’ experience includes roles as NQT mentor and EYFS lead, will provide an in-depth review of the new guidance, including clarity on key milestones during 2021 and 2022, steps schools can take to prepare for and administer KS2 tests as well as providing an overview of the marking process.
