Aim: The webinar offers an overview of what ISI will check for during inspections of your school’s safeguarding provision, in line with KCSIE 2023 and the ISI Inspection Framework (which signposts to KCSIE). It also includes a tool to complete your own provision audit against statutory requirements.

Rationale: With KCSIE having been reviewed and updated in June 2023, it is essential that schools understand their statutory duties and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding. All schools, of course, have a duty of care to children (both online and offline), and safeguarding is understandably a key focus of ISI inspections. If it is not at a sufficient level and aligned with the most recent guidance, then clearly this can mean that pupils are at risk of harm.
